Reviews are a massive thing if buying online perfumes without sampling them. Its difficult to make a choice or decision and of course when it comes to what smells good and what doesn't (much like music or food) its subjective and everyone likes different things. I read a lot about this fragrance and got it based on a broad range of good reviews and the ingredients in it are the things i like to smell in my other scents. Much like some food i love though, i might like the ingredients but that doesn't guarantee i will love the dish, it depends on the chef. The rave reviews offered much and when it turned up i guess i was expecting too much. I was very impressed with the lovely packaging but i found this fragrance simply awful. Just odd and unnatural and unpleasant. There is leather there and some oud and i love oud, coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon, everything in this fragrance should make it something i would love immediately. But nothing in this fragrance felt good until the final dry down. All the wonderful complicated notes oppose rather than compliment the other ingredients, they just clash and take over each other, leaving it jumbled and uneven. As a scent, its odd and unique but not in an exotic or novel way. Credit where it's due...it's got good strength and longevity and the box and bottle is lovely as a gift or showpiece item but ultimately envision this, to my nose after a week with it, Khmarah Qawah smells to me like a damp mouldy shed full of hundreds of used sweaty muddy football kit with boots left there untouched since 1978. Damp, mould, PVU Leather is the overwhelming scent i got for the first hour and a half. You keep waiting for it to develop and turn into something better but it refuses. After around 2 hours it finally settles and after shaking off the awful damp socks opening horrors, it magically starts to smell actually pretty good and settles into a faint but pleasantly smoky, lightly sweet oud, but its so weak by then that it has become irrelevant to the point of wearing the fragrance. You get maybe an hour of this weak projection sweet smoky oud and then it goes to the grave. Though it is advertised as unisex personally I would be horrified if my woman wore this and it is probably one to avoid for men too as its not really masculine either. I will never buy based on reviews or popularity ratings again, after all Hitler was very popular too once. Just saying.

Never heard of this before. Recommend by my young nephew, I knew I’d be getting this as soon I smelled it. Now I’m no expert and wouldn’t be able to describe the scent, but I know I like it and it’s different from what I’d normally wear. Looks pretty classy with the bottle design. Fast delivery and very decent packaging.
